PLOT: The unique story of Illegio (Dieç in the local dialect) that once a year opens its doors to the world with an exhibition of paintings and sculptures from all over Europe, attracting thousands of visitors to this small village in the Carnic Alps of "three hundred inhabitants and forty-seven chickens."

Thomas Turolo, born in Udine, graduated from the University of Udine with a degree in Cinematography. In 2014 he founded Red On Productions that produces film and audiovisuals. His latest short La regina di cuore was presented at the 2021 Venice Film Festival.

Regarding his film, Turolo said "The wealth of our country is this: art, spirit of initiative and beauty. We are lucky, but sometimes we forget this; I think the film is a way to look at ourselves in the mirror.".
