Palazzina LAF
"the return by actors to highlighting important civc causes" - LA REPUBBLICA
PLOT: 1997. Caterino is one of the many workers in the Ilva steel mill in Taranto. Company management decides to eliminate problem employees and asks Caterino to spy on co-workers. Soon, not understanding the situation, he, too, asks to be placed in the LAF building, where employees, as punishment, are forced to report to work but have no other activity than to pass the time.
Caterino will discover first hand that what seems like a paradise is in reality nothing but a perverse strategy to psychologically break the unwanted workers, pushing them to resign or be demoted, in what has since been termed as “mobbing”. And there is no way out for Caterino from that hell.
Based on a true story that culminated in the first Italian trial for mobbing of workers.
