DIRECTOR'S NOTES:     AB

Andrea Buonopane, of Robecco sul Naviglio, Milano, is a director and member of the Associazione Va’ Sentiero

The director said of his film:" It’s the result of the Va’ Sentiero team experience, unique and authentic, seven months long on the Italian Trail. It’s the story of nature in all its glory, but also of community, amidst renewal and abandonment. We hear from people met along the journey, those that held onto their lifestyle in silence and taught us something about the potential and fragility of the Italian highlands. It’s a tribute to the beauty, the spectacular scenery and the adventure lived along the 2205 mile trek"
