PLOT: Nevia is seventeen-too old to live where she does, and grown up before she's even had the chance to be a child. Tiny and naive, but stubborn, she and her younger sister Enza are being raised by their grandmother Nanà and aunt Lucia in a container park in Ponticelli.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:     NDS

Nunzia De Stefano, born in Naples, was married to director Matteo Garrone and collaborated on several of his films: Gomorra, Reality, Il racconto dei racconti and Dogman. She made her directorial debut with Nevia, which is semi-autobiographical

De Stefano stated: "A part of my life is in this story but some events are changed (...) because what really interested me was being on Nevia."
