Ernesto and Filippo, two high school teachers, couldn’t be more different: Filippo is a cheerful liberal who is constantly online. Handsome and youthful, he is a serial seducer on the social networks. Instead, Ernesto is a stern conservative, rigorously computerless. He is probably the last person around who still has a first-generation cell phone and his teaching methods are very traditional.
Massimilinao Bruno, born in Rome, started his career as an actor and a playwright. He made his directorial film debut in 2011 with Nessuno mi può giudicare which won the Nastro d’argento for Best Comedy Film.
Regarding this film, Bruno stated: “In my opinion, ignorance leads to wrong choices, culture to exact choices. However, what you see on the net, sometimes, makes you believe the opposite and it is on this paradox that the idea for this film was born. I asked myself the question of how real is online communication and the answer came in the realization of this work, in which I focused on communication”.
